a big inspiration for me happened now almost two years ago when i was asked to help create a knitwear line for obesity and speed. josh and liz are great designers and moving at full force in new york city these days. i really enjoyed my experience with them, but am looking to devote my knitting skills wholly to me mum knitting!

i recently photographed my old blanket me mum knitted me, i am so happy to still have it in good shape and still on my bed. thanks to the powers of acrylic it should be around for some time. however, i am no big fan of the artificial, not in food, not in people, and certainly not in wools! im putting lots of energy, research, and love into cottons and washable wools for the baby ideas i have.

should have those images posted soon, they were taken with my old reliable mayimaflex, an old two and a quarter camera...ive been applying to artist residencies, possibilties of gong back to school, and devoting time to working on dan mc carthy's new monograph. he's a great painter, originally from california, and been in the williamsburg brooklyn since the early days.
