this book cover might start to describe my desire to journey to chicagoland for education and fun.

woody has just gotten his hands on a copy of david brown's book on architecture and jazz improvisation. we spoke this morning of interesting organizations such as AREA chicago and mess hall as i awaited to board my flight back to new york via o'hare. the orange line interests me, its end point midway airport, im thinking of moving to bridgeport, but im also thinking west pilsen (perhaps someone can offer affordable housing advice in these neighborhoods).

hayden was recommended to me.

and finally

this was fun times.
ronny is a man with warm eyes.
beau is a one man band.
doses are guitar heavy.
tirra lirra has good haircuts and better sounds.
scalpels includes brass instruments.
cassettes, well, for awhile i thought their name was fucking cassettes.

tirra lirra is putting out their first album soon, recorded at shape shoppe, mastered in missouri. these kids from the great plains are simply amazing.

the midwest is quite another kind of culture, its more much more quieter, subtle, more keen. i want a car more than ever. could i possibly find my dream muscle car? datsun 240z or 280z or i saw a sweet gt on the road the other day, yes, i did a double take, the dude loved it.
